As the Global Payroll & Compensation Manager at Playtomic, you will be a key player in ensuring our employees are paid accurately and on time, wherever they are in the world. You'll leverage technology and automation to streamline our payroll processes while staying ahead of evolving labor regulations and compensation trends. You'll play a crucial role in attracting and retaining top talent by developing competitive compensation and benefits packages that align with Playtomic's rapid growth.
👩🏽💻 Key Responsibilities

Lead our global payroll operations: Implement and manage payroll systems, exploring automation opportunities to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Ensure compliance: Stay abreast of and ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws, tax regulations, and data privacy requirements across all operating countries.

Manage end-to-end payroll processing: Oversee all aspects of payroll, including data collection, processing, tax withholdings, and payments.

Develop and refine compensation strategies: Conduct market research and analysis to develop competitive salary structures, bonus programs, and benefits packages that attract and retain top talent.

Provide expert advice and support: Serve as a subject matter expert on payroll and compensation matters, providing guidance and support to employees and managers.

Manage payroll budgets: Track payroll costs, analyze trends, and identify opportunities for cost optimization.

Oversee payroll audits: Conduct regular internal audits and manage external audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.

Drive continuous improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize payroll processes, leverage technology, and enhance reporting capabilities.
👥 Who You’ll Work With
As a key member of our tight-knit People team (currently 5 strong!), you'll report directly to the People Director and collaborate closely with the Finance team.
🦄 Our Ideal Candidate
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll management or compensation analysis.
- Strong knowledge of global payroll systems and compliance requirements.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using payroll software and MS Excel for data analysis.
- A strong communicator who can work effectively across teams and cultures.
