🎯 Your mission

As the Regional Manager at Playtomic, you play a pivotal role in driving regional success through comprehensive market research, industry trend analysis, and strategic balance maintenance between B2B and B2C aspects on the Playtomic Marketplace. Your primary objective is to elevate Playtomic's value proposition and  elevate it as a prominent industry reference point. This involves fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders in the racket sports industry and effectively communicating growth opportunities and strategies. Additionally, you are responsible for facilitating collaboration between regional and central management, ensuring informed decision-making, and achieving measurable results and key performance objectives (KPIs).


👩🏽‍💻 What you’ll be doing

Market Research and Strategy Development:

  1. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify growth opportunities and industry trends.
  2. Analyse factors influencing growth, including player habits, competitive forces, and industry influencers.
  3. Develop strategies to capitalise on identified opportunities and overcome challenges.
  4. Stakeholder Relationship Management:
  5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including competitors, press, associations, and federations.
  6. Act as a liaison between Playtomic and external stakeholders, contributing to brand establishment and industry recognition.


Financial Understanding and Performance Analysis:

  1. Participate actively in budgeting and performance analysis to develop a strong financial understanding.
  2. Understand the impact of financial decisions on regional health and profitability.


Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  1. Encourage collaboration between different departments to align with company objectives.
  2. Embrace innovation and explore opportunities for business growth and improvement.


Customer-Centric Approach:

  1. Engage actively with customers, collect feedback, and ensure responsiveness to customer needs (clubs and players).
  2. Take a proactive approach to risk management by identifying and mitigating potential risks.


Communication and Reporting:

  1. Effectively convey the company's vision, mission, and strategy to internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Report on region-specific perceptions, challenges, and opportunities to facilitate informed decision-making.

You will be part of a team of 5 people reporting directly to the VP of Consolidate Markets.
