Senior Mobile Developer - Payments

🎯 Your mission

As a Senior Mobile Engineer in the Payments team at Playtomic, you will be responsible for developing robust and scalable payments solutions for our product. You’ll also work collaboratively with the Payments team in order to ensure high performance and consistent and secure transactions.

👩🏽‍💻 What you’ll be doing

• Support the entire development lifecycle (concept, design, test, release and support)
• Build and improve our existing payments layer app-side
• Produce fully functional app features writing clean code
• Collaborate with the team setting up new quality standards and research plans
• Write unit tests to identify malfunctions
• Troubleshoot and debug to optimize performance
• Design interfaces to improve user experience
• Liaise with Product development team to plan new features
• Stay up-to-date with new technology trends

👥 Who you’ll be playing with

You will be part of the engineering team (30 people) reporting directly to an Engineering Manager, working in the Payments team in daily collaboration with Product and other engineers.

🦄 Our Ideal "Player"

• Experience with payment gateway integrations and secure transaction processing is a must.
• Solid experience in iOS or Android, with at least some minor experience in the other platform.
• Solid experience in at least one of Swift or Kotlin
• Experience building UI with UIKit or Android views
• Strong background on unit testing
• Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing technical challenges.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions within specified timelines.
• Located in Madrid or able to travel to Madrid when needed
• Excellent spoken and written English is a must
• Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field

• Proven track record in designing and implementing payment systems or financial platforms.
• Experience working with remote and partially remote and multicultural teams.

• Located in Madrid or able to commute to Madrid several times per month
