👩🏽‍💻 What you’ll be doing

We're seeking a design enthusiast who loves product design, UI, and UX. You'll need the ability to truly understand and empathize with our vibrant community of users. Your role will involve leading a team to craft elegant solutions for complex design challenges. In this role, you will:

• Lead the design of user-friendly, elegant solutions that simplify complex user actions and provide delightful experiences across web, mobile, and other platforms.
• Collaborate closely with researchers, product managers, and developers to deeply understand user needs, test assumptions, and deliver impactful features.
• Champion design thinking and drive quick iterations based on feedback, inspiring your team to push boundaries while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Play a leadership role in your squad, helping set priorities, and plan sprints, and progress reports.
• Mentor junior designers and foster a design culture prioritizing user experience, innovation, and business goals.

👥 Who you’ll be playing with

You will report directly to our UX Director and directly collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, User Researchers, Product Analysts, and Engineers, working with squads.

🦄 Our Ideal "Player"

• Bachelor’s Degree in User Experience Design, Interactive Design, Visual Design, or equivalent curriculum teaching user-centered design principles.
• 6+ years of UI/UX experience in a software product team: prototyping, designing, and shipping full-stack software products.
• Expertise in designing across a diversity of platforms—web, mobile, and responsive.
• Demonstrated user-centric approach to defining, testing, and iterating UI/UX (e.g., user research, usability studies, A/B testing).
• Expertise in UI/UX wireframing and design tools, such as Sketch and Figma.
• Strong sense of visual design, with an eye for layout, visual impact, motion, color, typography, and iconography.
• Excellent collaboration skills, and demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with developers and other designers.
• Located in Spain.

• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain design systems and frontend component systems at scale.
• Experience working in the Marketplace or sports industry.

• Passion for racket sports or sports in general.
